Application Process

The following processes apply to Summer Internships and Dissertation projects.

For Summer Internships (6-8 Weeks)

  1. Initial Application: Interested candidates should email their CV and a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from their parent institute to the concerned faculty member.
  2. Screening: Applications will be screened based on academic background and research interest.
  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a casual online interview to discuss their motivation and background.
  4. Selection: Selected students will be informed via email. Due to the high volume of applications, only selected candidates will be contacted.

For Dissertation Work (6 Months)

  1. Initial Application: Candidates must email their CV and a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from their institute to the relevant faculty member at SCFBio.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a casual interview to assess their suitability for the project.
  3. Selection & Formality: Selected students will be informed via email. This email will include a specific form to be filled out for official registration.
  4. Onboarding: Once the form is submitted, the IIT Delhi Academics Section will manage the subsequent administrative processes for formally joining the program.
