RULES FOR VISITING STUDENTS (UNDERGRADUATE)

The visiting students would be governed by the following rules and regulations.

A visiting Student is a student, registered for a degree in a recognized Institute /university in India or abroad officially sponsored by that Institute/University...
Head of the Department/Centre may receive such official requests...
Fees & Registration: Selected candidates will be required to pay the applicable visiting student registration...
The student is required to get himself/herself insured against any eventuality...
Documents to be attached with the application form:
1. LOR from student's Institute/university
2. CV of the student
The Institute will not award any degree/diploma/assistantship.
Registration as visiting student will not guarantee or entitle for regular admission at this Institute at any stage.
On completion of the internship/project/training, the certificate will be issued by the faculty concerned.
Intellectual Property & Data Ownership: All research data, code, algorithms, and results generated during the tenure of the visit shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of SCFBio and IIT Delhi.
Confidentiality & IT Policy: The student must strictly adhere to the IIT Delhi IT and Network acceptable use policies.
Working Hours & Attendance: Visiting students are expected to maintain regular working hours as prescribed by the laboratory. A minimum attendance of 85% is typically required.
Termination: IIT Delhi and the host faculty reserve the right to terminate the visiting student's registration at any time.
